Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Jaipur, which is about 170 km away from Laxmangarh Fort. Take the NH48 highway, head towards Shahpura, and then take the exit towards Laxmangarh. Follow the signs to Laxmangarh, and once you reach the town, you'll see directions to the fort. The drive should take about 3-4 hours, depending on traffic. There is no toll on this route.

• Train

  For those using train services, you can take a train from major cities in Rajasthan to the nearest railway station, which is Laxmangarh Junction. From Jaipur, you can catch a train that takes around 3 hours. Once you arrive at Laxmangarh Junction, you can hire a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to reach Laxmangarh Fort, which is approximately 5 km away. Auto-rickshaw fares can range from ₹50 to ₹100.

• Bus

  If you prefer public buses, there are frequent buses from Jaipur to Laxmangarh. You can catch a bus from the Sindhi Camp Bus Stand. The journey will take around 4-5 hours. Upon reaching Laxmangarh, you can either walk to the fort (approximately 1 km from the bus stop) or take an auto-rickshaw for a small fare.

• Local Transportation

  Once you are in Laxmangarh, local transportation options include auto-rickshaws and taxis, which are readily available. To reach Laxmangarh Fort from the town center, you can expect to pay around ₹50-₹100 for a short ride. It is advisable to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
