If you are in the city center of Ranchi, start at Albert Ekka Chowk. From there, head south on Main Road towards Radium Road. After approximately 1 km, you will reach the intersection with Circular Road. Turn left onto Circular Road and continue for about 1.5 km until you reach the Kumhartoli area. Look for the signs directing you towards Pahari Mandir. The National Flag is located at the top of the hill, so prepare for a steep walk. Follow the steps leading up to Pahari Mandir, and you will find the National Flag at the top, which offers a panoramic view of Ranchi.

Public Transport (Auto-Rickshaw)
From your location in Ranchi, find the nearest auto-rickshaw stand. Ask the driver to take you to Kumhartoli, specifically to Pahari Mandir. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you may still need to walk a short distance to reach the base of the hill where the steps to the National Flag begin. After that, follow the steps up to the top where the flag is located.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ranchi. Start from the city center and cycle towards Main Road, continuing for about 1 km until you reach Circular Road. Then, take a left onto Circular Road and cycle for approximately 1.5 km towards Kumhartoli. Once you reach the area, park your bicycle at the foot of Pahari Mandir and walk up the steps to the National Flag.
