Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Rishikesh Bus Stand, exit the bus station and head towards the main road, which is known as the Rishikesh-Laxman Jhula Road. Turn left on this road and continue walking straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the Laxman Jhula area. Cross the Laxman Jhula Bridge, enjoying the scenic views of the Ganges River. Once you are across the bridge, take a right onto the main road, which leads to Dehradun. Continue straight for about 4 kilometers until you reach the junction where the road forks. Stay to the left towards Paltan Bazaar. After another 1 kilometer, you will find the Clock Tower prominently located in the center of Paltan Bazaar.

    From anywhere in Rishikesh, you can easily hire an auto-rickshaw to take you to the Clock Tower. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Clock Tower, Paltan Bazaar, Dehradun'. The ride is approximately 7 kilometers and will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the Clock Tower, which is a well-known landmark in the area.
