From the main Triveni Ghat area in Rishikesh, head north towards the Ram Jhula bridge. Walk across the bridge to the other side of the Ganges River. Once you reach the other side, continue straight on the main road (Swarg Ashram Road) for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with the Haridwar Road (NH58). Turn left onto Haridwar Road and continue walking for about 3 km. Look for signs indicating Kankhal. After reaching Kankhal, follow the local signs to the Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple, which will be on your left.

From any location in Rishikesh, you can hire an auto-rickshaw to take you to Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple. Simply tell the driver 'Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple in Kankhal, Haridwar.' The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the temple.

If you prefer to use public transport, you can take a local bus from Rishikesh to Haridwar. Look for buses heading towards Haridwar and board one (the fare is typically very low). Once you arrive at Haridwar, get off at the Kankhal stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 10 minutes) to Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple. Just follow the local signs or ask locals for directions to the temple.
