Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the main area of Rishikesh, start at the iconic Laxman Jhula Bridge. From there, head directly down towards the riverbank by taking the path that leads you to the Ganges. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank. Follow the path for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Ganga Vatika. Look for signs pointing towards Khara Shrut Rafting ending points, which is located near the Ganga Vatika area. The entire walk should take approximately 20-30 minutes.

• Auto Rickshaw

  For a quicker option, you can take an auto rickshaw from anywhere in Rishikesh. Just tell the driver to take you to Ganga Vatika or Khara Shrut Rafting ending points. Most drivers are familiar with the location, and the ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure you have the exact name and location handy in case the driver is unfamiliar.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, several rental shops are available near Laxman Jhula. Rent a bicycle and head towards the river. Follow the same route as walking, keeping the river on your left. This route is scenic and you can enjoy the view while cycling. It should take you about 15-20 minutes to reach Ganga Vatika.
