From the center of Rishikesh, head towards the iconic Laxman Jhula bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight towards the main road. After crossing the bridge, keep walking straight towards the Neergarh waterfall. The trek to Neer Himalayan starts above the Neergarh waterfall. It is approximately a 30-minute walk from Laxman Jhula to the waterfall.

Once you reach Neergarh waterfall, look for the trail that leads up the hill. Follow the path that goes upwards; it’s well-trodden and marked. The trek will take you through lush greenery and scenic views. Make sure to carry water and snacks as there are no facilities on the way. The trek to Neer Himalayan takes about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.

If you prefer not to walk the entire distance, you can take a local auto-rickshaw from Rishikesh to Neergarh waterfall. Auto-rickshaws can be found near the main market area. Once you reach the waterfall, you will still need to walk the short distance to the start of the trek above the waterfall.
