Getting There

• Walking

  If you are staying near the main market area of Rishikesh, head towards the Ganga River by walking down to Swarg Ashram. From there, walk along the riverbank towards the north. You will pass several small shops and cafes. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the Triveni Ghat area. Look for signs directing you to the Aarti point, which is usually crowded with tourists and locals preparing for the evening ceremony.

• Auto-rickshaw

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can take an auto-rickshaw from anywhere in Rishikesh. Just tell the driver 'Triveni Ghat Aarti point' or simply 'Triveni Ghat'. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, pay the driver and walk towards the riverfront where the Aarti ceremony takes place.

• Local Bus

  You can catch a local bus from the Rishikesh Bus Stand to the Mayakund area. Look for a bus heading towards 'Triveni Ghat' or 'Laxman Jhula'. Once you reach the Mayakund bus stop, disembark and walk towards the river. The Aarti point is located a short 5-10 minute walk away, following the signs towards Triveni Ghat.

• Cycle Rickshaw

  For a more leisurely experience, consider taking a cycle rickshaw. You can find cycle rickshaws near most busy intersections or along the Ganga River. Simply tell the driver 'Triveni Ghat Aarti point' and enjoy the ride, which will take about 15 minutes. The rickshaw will drop you off close to the ghat, from where you can easily walk to the Aarti area.
