Getting There

  • Walking

    From Police Bazar, walk towards the main road and head towards the Shillong Golf Course. Continue straight on this road until you reach the junction at Bansara Eye Hospital. Take a left there and follow the road. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see the sign for Upper Shillong. Continue on the road until you reach 7 Mile, where Meghalaya is located.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From your location in Shillong, head to the local bus stand at Police Bazar. Look for a bus heading towards Upper Shillong or 7 Mile. The buses are frequent and will drop you off at the designated stops. Inform the conductor that you want to go to 7 Mile, and they will guide you. Once you reach 7 Mile, you can follow the signs to Meghalaya.

  • Shared Taxi

    From Police Bazar, go to the shared taxi stand and look for a taxi heading towards Upper Shillong or 7 Mile. These taxis are usually available from early morning until late evening. It’s a quick ride, and you can tell the driver your destination. They will drop you off at 7 Mile, which is the area where Meghalaya is located.
