If you are in the Police Bazar area, head towards the main road that runs through the market. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with the main road leading to the Shillong Club. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will see signs for Ward's Lake on your right. Follow the signs and turn right into the pathway that leads to the lake.

The ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The auto-rickshaw will drop you off near the entrance of the lake.
