If you are starting from Police Bazar, head east on Police Bazar Road towards M.G. Road. Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you reach a junction. At the junction, take a right turn onto the Ward's Lake Road. Walk for another 10 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Ward's Lake on your left.

From Shillong's Raj Bhavan (Governor's House), exit the premises and turn left onto Raj Bhavan Road. Walk straight for approximately 15 minutes. You will come to a T-junction; turn right onto Ward's Lake Road and continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach Ward's Lake on your right.

If you are at the Shillong Golf Course, exit the course and turn left onto the main road (Shillong-Guwahati Road). Walk straight for about 20 minutes until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Ward's Lake Road and keep walking for about 10 minutes. Ward's Lake will be on your left.
