Rickshaw
From the center of Siliguri, head to the Siliguri Junction Railway Station. You can take a rickshaw from here to Ghoom. Inform the rickshaw driver that you want to go to 'Yiga Choeling Monastery' located on Ghoom Monastery Road. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Enjoy the scenic ride as you ascend towards Darjeeling.
Bus
Make your way to the Siliguri Bus Station. Look for buses heading towards Darjeeling. Buses frequently depart for Darjeeling, and the journey takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. Once you reach Darjeeling, you can take a local taxi or a shared jeep to Ghoom. The taxi drivers will know the Yiga Choeling Monastery, or you can ask to be dropped off at Ghoom Monastery Road.
Shared Jeep
Head to the Siliguri Bus Station, where you can find shared jeeps going directly to Darjeeling. These jeeps depart as they fill up and take about 3 hours to reach Darjeeling. Upon arrival, you can take another jeep or a taxi to Ghoom. Make sure to mention Yiga Choeling Monastery to the driver, and they will drop you off at the nearest point.
