Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest city, such as Kolkata. Head towards the Sundarbans via the NH12 road. Once you reach Canning, follow the signs to Namkhana, and then take the ferry to Gosaba. From Gosaba, you can hire a local vehicle or take a boat ride to Sajnekhali. The ferry fare typically costs around ₹20-₹50 per person, and local transport may vary in price depending on the distance.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train or a bus from Kolkata to Canning. Once you arrive in Canning, you can find local buses or auto-rickshaws to take you to Namkhana. From Namkhana, you will need to catch a ferry to Gosaba. After reaching Gosaba, you can either hire a local vehicle or take a boat to Sajnekhali. The train or bus fare from Kolkata to Canning is approximately ₹50-₹150, while the ferry and local transport will add an additional ₹50-₹200.
Ferry
If you're already in Sundarbans and near the waterways, you can take a direct ferry to Sajnekhali. Identify the nearest ferry ghat (port) and inquire about the schedule to Sajnekhali.
