If you are in the city center, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for buses heading towards Kanaka Nagar or the Trivandrum Zoo. Board any bus that passes by the Museum Road. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Kanaka Nagar stop. From there, the Kanakakkunnu Palace is a short walk away, approximately 500 meters. Head towards Sooryakanthi Road and follow the signs to the palace.

Find an auto rickshaw at a nearby stand or hail one on the street. Tell the driver 'Kanakakkunnu Palace' or 'Sooryakanthi Road.' The ride from the city center should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off directly at the entrance of the palace.

If you are near the Napier Museum or Trivandrum Zoo, you can walk to Kanakakkunnu Palace. From the museum, head towards the zoo entrance and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will reach the palace grounds. If you are at the zoo, exit the zoo and walk along the main road towards Sooryakanthi Road. The palace will be on your left.
