Walking
If you are in the heart of Trivandrum, start at the Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station. Exit the station and walk straight towards the East Fort area. From East Fort, take a left onto MG Road and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout at Statue Junction. Here, you will see a landmark statue of the famous leader, Sree Chitra Thirunal Balarama Varma. Take the first exit onto the Vellayambalam Road. After about 500 meters, you will find a sign directing you to Kanakakunnu Palace. Continue straight for another 700 meters, then take a right onto Nishagandhi Auditorium Road. The palace and auditorium will be on your left side.

From anywhere in Trivandrum, locate the nearest bus stop and take a bus heading towards East Fort. Buses are frequent and will take you directly to the East Fort area. Once you arrive at East Fort, exit the bus and walk towards MG Road. Follow the same instructions as in the walking guide: turn left onto MG Road, continue for 1.5 kilometers to Statue Junction, take the first exit onto Vellayambalam Road, and after 500 meters, turn right onto Nishagandhi Auditorium Road. The Kanakakunnu Palace and Nishagandhi Auditorium will be on your left.
