If you are in the Valley of Flowers National Park, the quickest way to reach Chandra Parbat is by hiring a taxi or using a private car. Start from the main entrance of the Valley of Flowers and head towards the town of Govindghat. From Govindghat, take the road leading towards Joshimath. Continue on this road for about 25 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, take the left turn which will lead you towards the Auli-Govindghat road. Follow this road for another 20 kilometers. Chandra Parbat will be visible on your right side as you approach the area. Ensure you have a local map or GPS for easy navigation. The approximate cost of a taxi from the Valley of Flowers entrance to Chandra Parbat is around INR 1200-1500.

To reach Chandra Parbat via public transportation, you will first need to travel to Govindghat from the Valley of Flowers National Park. Use the local bus service available from the park entrance to Govindghat. Buses run frequently, and the fare is typically around INR 50-100. Upon reaching Govindghat, catch a bus heading towards Joshimath. After about 30 minutes, get off at the junction before Joshimath. From there, you can either hire a local taxi to Chandra Parbat or continue to walk for about 5 kilometers along the road, following the signs towards Chandra Parbat. Make sure to check the bus timings in advance for both legs of your journey.
