Getting There

  • Car

    From Valley of Flowers National Park, head towards Joshimath. Follow the signs on NH58 towards Joshimath, which is approximately 25 km away. Once in Joshimath, follow the Auli road (Auli Gali). The distance from Joshimath to M&SI, AULI is about 14 km. This road is well-maintained, and you will encounter beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. Note that you may need to pay a toll fee when entering Auli.

  • Public Transportation

    From Valley of Flowers National Park, you can take a shared taxi or local bus to Joshimath. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Joshimath, you can take a cable car to Auli. The cable car ride is approximately 3 km long and offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks. The cost for the cable car ride is around INR 100-200 per person one way. After disembarking at Auli, M&SI, AULI is within a short walking distance.

  • Combination (Car + Cable Car)

    Drive or take a taxi from Valley of Flowers to Joshimath. Once you reach Joshimath, park your vehicle and take the cable car to Auli. This is a scenic way to travel and saves time. After reaching Auli via the cable car, M&SI, AULI is located a short walk from the cable car station. Make sure to check the timings for the cable car before your trip.
