If you have a private vehicle, start your journey from the Valley of Flowers National Park entrance. Drive towards Govindghat via the Auli Road. This route is scenic and well-maintained. Upon reaching Govindghat, continue on NH 58 towards Vishnuprayag. The distance is approximately 30 km, which should take around 1 hour. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Vishnuprayag. You will arrive at the HH7G+3G4 location on NH 58, where the confluence of Alaknanda and Dhauliganga rivers is located.

Public Transportation

To reach Vishnuprayag via public transport, start from the nearest bus stop to Valley of Flowers, which is in Joshimath. Take a local bus or shared taxi from Joshimath to Govindghat. This ride will take about 30 minutes. From Govindghat, look for buses or shared taxis heading towards Vishnuprayag. The journey from Govindghat to Vishnuprayag takes about 1 hour. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are stopping at the HH7G+3G4 location on NH 58.

Hiking

For adventurous travelers, consider hiking from the Valley of Flowers to Vishnuprayag. This route is not commonly traveled, so ensure you have a map and a guide. The hike may take approximately 8-10 hours, depending on your pace and trail conditions. Begin early in the morning from the Valley of Flowers, and follow the trail towards Govindghat. Once you reach Govindghat, you can continue towards Vishnuprayag either on foot or by catching a local transport from Govindghat.
