Really great experience. I was able to book last minute (day before) and had a lovely time. My guide was informative and took me to eat street food I would never have tried otherwise. He provided information about Varanasi itself beyond just the food. It was also a great way to watch the Arati.

Varanasi Cooking Classes with Indu and Shobha

Booked the cooking class spontanously in the morning for the same day, it was no problem. If you have food wishes let them know in advance, they're happy to fulfill them ;) Cooking and talking with Shobha was very nice. It was so interesting to get an inside into the indian way of cooking. Now I know why the food here is so amazing. And of course our food in the end was delicious as well!! Shobha was so kind and packed some food for me for my dinner in the evening as well. It was nice that the cooking class was in their home, so I got an inside into their life as well.

The food walk in Varanasi was a memorable experience. Am glad I booked a guided food walk. My guide was perfectly able to identify clean shops and tasty food to appreciate the local dishes. On our own we would never have been able to decide this. This food street experience is a fantastic way of getting to experience the local culture.
