Walking
If you are in the vicinity of Varanasi's main ghat area, start by making your way towards Dashashwamedh Ghat, which is a central and well-known location. From Dashashwamedh Ghat, walk towards the riverfront and continue along the ghats. You will be walking along the Ganges River, taking in the sights and sounds of Varanasi. After around a 15-20 minute walk, keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Panchganga Ghat. It is located near Bangali Tola. You will find it as you walk past several other ghats.
Rickshaw
If you prefer a quicker mode of transport, you can hire a cycle rickshaw from any point in Varanasi. Inform the rickshaw puller that you want to go to Panchganga Ghat. They are familiar with the area and can take you directly there. You can ask to be dropped off at the nearest spot to the ghat, which is typically around Sonarpura Road. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Local Guides
Another option is to hire a local guide or join a walking tour. Many local guides are available in Varanasi who can take you to Panchganga Ghat while providing insights about the history and significance of each location along the way.
