Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Vadodara, which is approximately 46 km away from Khuniya Mahadev Waterfall. Take the NH48 (National Highway 48) towards Pavagadh. After about 30 km, follow the signs for Pavagadh Hill Road. Continue on Pavagadh Hill Road for approximately 15 km until you reach the parking area near the waterfall. Note that the road can be steep and winding, so drive carefully. Parking fees may apply, ranging from INR 20 to 50 depending on the vehicle type.
Public Transportation
For public transport, you can take a train to Vadodara Junction. From there, board a local bus or hire an auto-rickshaw to Pavagadh. Buses from Vadodara to Pavagadh run frequently, with tickets costing around INR 50 to 100. Once in Pavagadh, you may need to hire a taxi or take an auto-rickshaw to reach the waterfall. The fare for an auto-rickshaw from Pavagadh town to the waterfall typically ranges from INR 100 to 200.
Hiking
If you are feeling adventurous and prefer to hike, you can park your vehicle at the designated parking area near the base of Pavagadh Hill. From there, follow the marked trails leading to Khuniya Mahadev Waterfall. The hike is about 2 km and may take around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your fitness level. Ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes and carry water, as the trail can be steep and rocky.
