Getting There

Car
If you're driving, head towards Matheran in Maharashtra. From Mumbai, take the NH48 towards Karjat. After reaching Karjat, follow the signs to Matheran. Once you arrive at Dasturi Naka, park your vehicle there as no cars are allowed in Matheran. From Dasturi Naka, you can either walk for about 2 km or take a toy train to reach Matheran town. After reaching Matheran town, follow the signs to King George Point, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk.

From Mumbai, take a local train from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST) to Neral station. This journey takes around 1.5 hours.
