Bus

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Ahmedabad to Upleta. Multiple bus services operate on this route, and tickets cost around INR 200-300. Upon reaching Upleta, you can hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to Vadgam Lake, approximately 20 km away. The fare for this local transport will be around INR 300-400. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will take you directly to the lake.

Train

If you prefer traveling by train, take a train from Ahmedabad to Upleta Railway Station. The journey takes about 2-3 hours and costs between INR 150-400 depending on the class of travel. After arriving at Upleta, you can take a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to Vadgam Lake, which is about 20 km away. The taxi fare will be approximately INR 300-400.

Local Transport
