Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Mumbai, take the Mumbai-Pune Expressway (NH 48) towards Pune. After reaching Lonavala, take the exit towards Khandala and follow the signs towards Bhaja Village. Continue on Bhaje Caves Road for approximately 10 km until you reach the Bhaje Buddhist Caves. There is parking available near the entrance. Please note that there may be a small parking fee.

    If you prefer public transport, take a train from Mumbai to Lonavala. The train ride takes about 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at Lonavala station, you can hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to take you to Bhaje Caves, which is about 10 km away.
