Car

To reach Shimpla Island from anywhere in Tarkarli by car, start by heading south on the Tarkarli Beach Road. Continue straight for approximately 3 km until you reach the junction with the NH66 (National Highway 66). Turn left onto NH66 and drive for about 5 km. Look for signs towards Malvan; continue on this route until you reach Malvan town. From Malvan, head towards the Malvan Jetty, where you can park your car. The parking fee is approximately ₹50 per hour. Once parked, you will need to take a local boat or ferry to Shimpla Island, which costs around ₹300-₹500 per person for a round trip, depending on the season.

Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, start at any location in Tarkarli and take a local rickshaw to Malvan bus stand. The fare is about ₹30-₹50. From Malvan bus stand, you can catch a local bus or auto-rickshaw to the Malvan Jetty. Once at the jetty, you'll need to hire a boat to reach Shimpla Island. The boat fare will be approximately ₹300-₹500 for a round trip. Ensure to confirm the boat timings, as they can vary based on the weather and season.
