    From Fishers, head to the nearest bus stop and board the IndyGo Route 8 bus towards 'Washington St & Delaware St.' Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Washington St & Missouri St' stop. From there, walk west on Washington Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the Indiana State Museum at 650 W Washington St.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental stations in Fishers. Follow the Monon Trail south towards Indianapolis. The trail will eventually lead you to downtown Indianapolis. Once you reach downtown, navigate to Washington Street and head west. The Indiana State Museum will be on your left at 650 W Washington St. The entire ride should take around 45 minutes to an hour.

  • Walking

    If you are close enough to downtown Fishers, you can walk to the Indiana State Museum. Head south on Fishers Corner Blvd towards 116th Street. Turn left on 116th Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Olio Road. Then turn right on Olio Road, which will turn into Lantern Road. Follow Lantern Road until you reach the intersection with 96th Street and turn left. Continue walking south until you reach 82nd Street and finally head west to Washington Street, where the museum is located at 650 W Washington St.
