If you are traveling by car, start from Bloomington, IN. Head southeast on IN-45 S for about 14 miles. Then, turn left onto IN-37 S and continue for approximately 10 miles. Look for the signs for Hoosier National Forest, and take the exit toward IN-46 W. After about 4 miles, turn right onto Forest Road 825, which will lead you directly to the Charles C. Deam Wilderness area. There is no parking fee, but make sure to park in designated areas only.
