Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Monument Circle, head east on East Market Street. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach East Washington Street. Turn left onto East Washington Street and walk about 0.2 miles. The City County Building will be on your right at 200 E Washington St.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  If you are near a bus stop, check the IndyGo bus schedule for routes that stop near the City County Building. For example, you can take Route 8 (Washington) or Route 10 (10th St). Board the bus and travel to the stop at East Washington Street and Delaware Street. From there, walk east on East Washington Street for about 0.1 miles; the City County Building will be on your right.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, you can rent one from a bike-sharing service. Start from the nearest bike station and head towards the Cultural Trail. Follow the trail towards Market East District. When you reach East Market Street, turn left and bike east towards East Washington Street. At East Washington Street, turn left again and continue until you see the City County Building on your right.

  Use a ride-sharing app like Uber or Lyft. Set your destination to City County Building, 200 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Your driver will take you directly to the building's entrance.
