Getting There

• Public Transit

  If you are starting from the Indianapolis downtown area, locate the nearest bus stop. You can use the IndyGo public transit system. Take Route 8 (Washington Street) towards the 'Washington St & West St' stop. Once you arrive at the 'Washington St & West St' stop, disembark and walk west along Washington Street for about 10 minutes. White River State Park will be on your left at 801 W Washington St.

  From the Indianapolis City Market located at 222 E Market St, head southwest on Market St toward S Delaware St. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Washington St. Turn left onto Washington St and walk for another 0.5 miles. White River State Park will be on your left at 801 W Washington St.

• Bicycle

  If you are renting a bike, start at the Indianapolis Cultural Trail at the intersection of Georgia St and Delaware St. Ride west along the Cultural Trail, which will lead you to the White River State Park area. Follow the trail until you reach the park entrance at 801 W Washington St. The ride is approximately 1 mile and should take around 10-15 minutes.
