If you are starting from the Michigan City Public Library located at 100 E 4th St, head west on 4th St for two blocks until you reach Franklin St. Turn right onto Franklin St and walk north until you reach Washington St. Turn left on Washington St and continue walking for about six blocks. Barker Mansion will be on your right at 631 Washington St.

Public Transit (Bus)
From the Michigan City train station, board the South Shore Line train heading towards Chicago and get off at the Michigan City stop. Once you arrive, walk to the nearest bus stop on 8th St and board the Michigan City Transit bus route 1. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Washington St & 7th St. From there, walk one block north on Washington St, and you will find Barker Mansion at 631 Washington St.

If you have a bike, start from the Washington Park area. Head north on Lake Shore Dr, then take a left to follow the bike path along the lake. Continue until you reach 6th St, then turn left. Follow 6th St until you reach Franklin St, and turn right. Continue on Franklin St until you reach Washington St, then turn left. Barker Mansion will be on your right at 631 Washington St.
