If you are starting from the Michigan City Public Library located at 100 E 4th St, head west on 4th St for two blocks until you reach Franklin St. Turn right onto Franklin St and walk north until you reach Washington St. Turn left on Washington St and continue walking for about six blocks. Barker Mansion will be on your right at 631 Washington St.

From the Michigan City train station, board the South Shore Line train heading towards Chicago and get off at the Michigan City stop. Once you arrive, walk to the nearest bus stop on 8th St and board the Michigan City Transit bus route 1.
