From Morgan-Monroe State Forest, start by heading north on IN-37 N. Continue on IN-37 N for approximately 16 miles until you reach the junction with I-465. Merge onto I-465 N toward Indianapolis. In about 10 miles, take exit 37A to merge onto I-70 E toward Indianapolis. Stay on I-70 E for about 6 miles. Take exit 83A for West Street toward the Indiana State Capitol. Continue on West Street, then turn left onto W Washington St. The Indiana State Capitol will be on your right at 200 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204. There may be parking fees in the area, typically around $5-$15 depending on the lot.
Public Transportation
To reach the Indiana State Capitol from Morgan-Monroe State Forest using public transportation, first, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest bus station, which is likely the Bloomington Transit Center.
