Walking
If you are starting from the Richmond Visitor Center located at 407 N 2nd St, head south on N 2nd St towards E Broad St. After 0.2 miles, turn right onto E Broad St and continue for another 0.3 miles. Then turn left onto S 5th St and walk straight for about 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Tredegar St, and the Tredegar Iron Works will be on your left at 470 Tredegar St.
Public Transit (Bus)
From the Richmond Visitor Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at 2nd St & Broad St. Take the GRTC Pulse Bus towards Rocketts Landing. Get off at the 7th St & Dock St stop. From there, walk towards E Canal St and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tredegar St. Turn left onto Tredegar St, and the Tredegar Iron Works will be on your right at 470 Tredegar St.
Bicycling
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-share stations. Start from the Richmond Visitor Center and head south on N 2nd St. Continue to E Broad St, and then take a left onto S 5th St. Follow the bike lanes until you reach Tredegar St. Turn right, and the Tredegar Iron Works will be on your left at 470 Tredegar St.
