From downtown Terre Haute, head to the nearest bus stop on Wabash Avenue. Take the #4 bus towards St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the St. Mary-of-the-Woods College stop, disembark and walk towards the entrance of the college. The SMWC Lake House is located within the campus area; follow the directional signs towards the lake.

If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Terre Haute. Start your ride from downtown and head north on 7th Street. Continue to follow 7th Street until you reach the intersection with Wabash Avenue. Turn right and then continue straight until you reach the entrance of St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. Once inside, follow the paths leading to the lake area where the SMWC Lake House is located.

If you are near downtown Terre Haute, you can walk to SMWC Lake House. Start walking north on 7th Street until you reach Wabash Avenue. Turn left (west) onto Wabash Avenue and continue until you reach the intersection with US-41. Cross the highway carefully and then follow the signs towards St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. Once you enter the campus, look for signs directing you to the lake area, where the SMWC Lake House is located.
