Walking
If you are in downtown Terre Haute, start by heading east on Wabash Ave towards 6th St. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach 3rd St. Turn right onto 3rd St and walk for another half mile. When you reach the intersection with E Maple Ave, turn left. Continue on E Maple Ave for about 1.5 miles. You will see signs for Hawthorn Park on your right as you approach 6067 E Old Maple Ave. The park entrance is easily accessible from the sidewalk.

From the Terre Haute Transit bus terminal, take the Route 1 bus heading east. Get off at the stop at E Maple Ave. After getting off, walk east along E Maple Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance of Hawthorn Park at 6067 E Old Maple Ave. The park will be on your left side.
