From The Dunes, head east on Dunes Highway (IN-49) towards Gary. Continue for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection with US-12. Turn left onto US-12 E and continue for about 2 miles. Then turn right onto N Lake St. Follow N Lake St for about 1 mile to reach IDNP Miller Woods located at 47-75 N Lake St, Gary, IN 46403. There is free parking available on site.

From The Dunes, you can take the South Shore Line train towards Chicago. Board the train at the Dune Park Station. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Gary Metro Center. From there, you can catch the Gary Public Transportation Corporation bus route 10 towards Miller Beach. Get off at the stop at N Lake St. Walk north for about 10 minutes to reach IDNP Miller Woods at 47-75 N Lake St, Gary, IN 46403. Note that train and bus fares may apply, so check the latest schedules and fares.

If you prefer cycling, start from The Dunes and head east on Dunes Highway (IN-49). After about 8 miles, turn left onto US-12 E.
