From The Dunes, head east on U.S. Route 20 until you reach I-65 N. Merge onto I-65 N and continue for about 50 miles. Take exit 123A to merge onto IN-38 E toward New Castle. Follow IN-38 E for about 15 miles, then turn right onto N Messick Rd. Continue on N Messick Rd for about 2 miles, and you will arrive at Summit Lake State Park located at 5993 N Messick Rd, New Castle, IN 47362.
