Car
If you're driving from Banda Aceh, take the Jalan Medan-Banda Aceh road (route 1A) towards North Aceh. Continue for about 150 kilometers until you reach the town of Lhoksukon. From Lhoksukon, follow the signs to Kuta Makmur. The turnoff for Sido Muliyo is well-marked. Drive approximately 10 kilometers into Sido Muliyo, and you will find the entrance to Air Terjun Blang Kolam. Be prepared for some unpaved roads in the last stretch, so a vehicle with good suspension is advisable.

Public Transportation
To reach Air Terjun Blang Kolam using public transportation, start at the central bus station in Banda Aceh. Take a bus heading to Lhoksukon; these buses are frequent and the fare is relatively inexpensive (around IDR 30,000). Once you arrive in Lhoksukon, you will need to hire a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Kuta Makmur. The ojek ride should cost around IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000. Once in Kuta Makmur, ask the ojek driver or locals for directions to Sido Muliyo, which is approximately 10 kilometers away from the town center. The entrance to Air Terjun Blang Kolam will be visible once you approach the area.

If you have access to a car but prefer to leave it parked, drive to the nearest point accessible by vehicle, which is close to Kuta Makmur. Park your car in a safe location, and then walk about 2 kilometers to reach Air Terjun Blang Kolam. The walking path is well-trodden but may include some uneven terrain, so wear suitable footwear.
