If you are driving from Banda Aceh, head east on Jalan Iskandar Muda towards the city of Takengon. This route is approximately 340 km and will take around 8-10 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you reach Takengon, continue on Jl. Takengon - Blangkejeren I for about 20 km until you reach Mendale, Kebayakan. The cave is located on this road, look for signs indicating Putri Pukes Cave. Ensure to have some cash on hand for fuel and possible tolls along the route.

From Banda Aceh, you can take a bus to Takengon. Look for buses at the Terminal Lambaro, they run regularly and the journey takes about 8-10 hours.
