If you are traveling by car from Banda Aceh, start by taking the Jalan Iskandar Muda road heading south. Continue for approximately 120 km until you reach the town of Meulaboh. From Meulaboh, take the Jalan Lintas Barat road heading east towards Tadu Raya. After about 25 km, you'll arrive in Babah Rot. Gunung Batee is located just a short drive from Babah Rot, where you can park your car before hiking to the peak. Be prepared for some rough roads, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended.

To reach Gunung Batee using public transportation from Banda Aceh, start by taking a bus from the central bus terminal heading to Meulaboh. The bus ride takes approximately 3-4 hours and costs around IDR 50,000-100,000. Once you arrive in Meulaboh, look for a local minibus (angkot) that travels to Tadu Raya. The fare for the minibus is about IDR 20,000. Get off at Babah Rot and you can either walk or hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) to take you closer to the foot of Gunung Batee.
