Car
If you are driving from Banda Aceh, take the Jalan Medan-Banda Aceh road (Route 1) heading to Takengon. After approximately 200 km, you will reach Takengon. From Takengon, continue on Jalan Takengon - Blangkejeren I for about 10 km until you reach Mendale, Kebayakan. The cave is located along this road, so keep an eye out for signs or ask locals for directions.
Public Transportation
From Banda Aceh, take a bus to Takengon. Several bus companies operate this route, and the journey takes about 6-8 hours. Once you arrive in Takengon, you can hire a local taxi or use a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to reach Putri Pukes Cave. The taxi ride will cost approximately 100,000 to 150,000 IDR and will take around 20-30 minutes.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Mendale, you can walk to Putri Pukes Cave from the nearest bus stop or taxi drop-off point. The walk is about 1 km and takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Follow Jalan Takengon - Blangkejeren I, and you will see the cave entrance along the way.
