Bicycle
If you're staying in Candidasa, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start by heading east along Jl. Raya Candidasa towards Sengkidu. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers, passing by rice fields and local villages. Once you reach the intersection at Sengkidu, turn left onto Jl. Bugbug. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers, and you'll see signs for Bukit Asah on your right. The entrance is located just off the main road.

Walking
From Sengkidu, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can walk to Bukit Asah. Start at the Sengkidu village square and walk east towards Jl. Raya Candidasa. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection. At the intersection, turn right onto Jl. Bugbug and walk another 2 kilometers. As you approach Bukit Asah, you’ll see signs directing you to the entrance on your left. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes!

Public Transport (Bemo)
To get to Bukit Asah using public transport, find a Bemo (shared minibus) heading towards Manggis from the nearest Bemo station in Candidasa. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Desa Adat Bugbug. The journey will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Bugbug, ask locals for directions to Bukit Asah, as it is a popular spot and they can guide you. It’s a short walk from where the Bemo drops you off.
