Bicycle
Start from the main tourist area in Ubud. Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Head east on Jalan Raya Ubud and follow the signs towards Tegallalang. Continue on this route until you reach the junction at Tegallalang. From there, take the left road heading towards Kintamani. Stay on this road for about 30 minutes, enjoying the beautiful rice terraces along the way. Once you reach the Kintamani area, take a right onto Jalan Raya Pengosekan, which leads towards Bebandem. Continue straight until you reach Sibetan village. Look for Br. Pengawan, which will be on your right. The journey should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace.
Public Transport (Bemo)
From Ubud, walk to the Ubud Traditional Market located in the town center. Look for a bemo (shared minivan) heading to Amlapura or Karangasem. Once you board the bemo, inform the driver you are going to Sibetan. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. Ask the driver to drop you off at Sibetan village. From the bemo stop, it is a short walk to Br. Pengawan, which is located within the village. The total travel time will be around 1.5 hours, including waiting time for the bemo.
Walking
If you are staying in a nearby village to Sibetan, start walking towards the main road leading to Bebandem. Follow the signs towards the village of Sibetan. The walk from the nearest village should take about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your location. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding rice fields and local farms. Once you arrive in Sibetan, ask locals for directions to Br. Pengawan; it is a well-known spot and everyone will be able to help you find it.
