If you are driving from the main town of Banda Neira, take Jl. Sultan Syarifuddin south towards Lonthor. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach a fork. Keep left at the fork, and follow the road that leads towards the beach. After about 5 more minutes, you will see signs directing you to Benteng Holandia on your right. There is parking available near the entrance.

From Banda Neira, head to the main angkot station located near the central market. Take an angkot heading towards Lonthor. The fare is typically around IDR 10,000. Inform the driver you want to go to Benteng Holandia. The angkot will drop you off near the entrance to the fort. From there, it's a short walk to the actual site. Make sure to check the angkot schedule for the return trip.
