To reach Mt. Papandayan from central Bandung, start by heading to the Leuwi Panjang Bus Terminal. You can take an angkot (minibus) from various locations in Bandung to reach the terminal. Once at Leuwi Panjang, look for a bus heading to Garut. The journey will take approximately 2-3 hours. After you arrive at Garut, you can take an angkot or a motorcycle taxi to Karamat Wangi, Cisurupan. Mt. Papandayan is located about 15 km from Garut town center. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Mt. Papandayan.

Motorcycle Taxi (Go-Jek or Grab)
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a ride-hailing app like Go-Jek or Grab. Simply input 'Mt. Papandayan' as your destination. The app will guide you to the nearest motorcycle taxi driver. The ride from central Bandung to Mt. Papandayan will take around 2-3 hours depending on traffic, and the driver will take you directly to the entrance of the volcano.
