Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can start your journey from Semarang city. Head south on Jl. Soekarno-Hatta, and after about 30 kilometers, follow the signs to Bandungan. Continue on Jl. Raya Bandungan until you reach Jl. Ke Candi Gedong Songo. The temple is located approximately 5 kilometers from Bandungan and is well-signposted. There is a parking area available near the temple entrance. Please note that there may be a parking fee, which typically costs around IDR 5,000 to IDR 10,000.

  To reach Gedong Songo Temple using public transportation, take a bus from Semarang to Bandungan. You can board a bus at the main bus terminal (Terminal Terboyo) in Semarang. The fare should be around IDR 15,000 to IDR 25,000. Once you arrive in Bandungan, you can hire a local 'ojek' (motorcycle taxi) or take a local minivan to Gedong Songo Temple, which will cost approximately IDR 10,000 to IDR 20,000 for the ride.
