Car
If you are traveling by car from Yogyakarta, head east on Jalan Raya Solo-Yogyakarta. After approximately 15 km, take the exit toward Prambanan. Continue straight until you reach the T-junction and turn right onto Jalan Candi Plaosan. Follow this road for about 3 km, and you will find Plaosan Lor Temple on your left. Parking is available near the temple. Note that there may be a small parking fee of around IDR 5,000.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Yogyakarta, you can take a bus from the Jombor Bus Station to Klaten. Buses to Klaten are frequent and cost around IDR 20,000. Once you arrive at Klaten, you can either take a local minibus (angkot) headed to Prambanan or a taxi. Inquire with the bus driver to confirm the route. The angkot fare is about IDR 5,000. Get off at Bugisan village, which is a short walk to Plaosan Lor Temple.
Public Transportation (Train)
If you prefer traveling by train, take a train from Yogyakarta to Klaten Station, which takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately IDR 15,000. From Klaten Station, you can take an angkot or a taxi to Bugisan. The angkot fare will be around IDR 5,000. The temple is a 10-minute walk from the nearest angkot stop.
