If you're starting from Sorong, drive towards the port area. You'll need to head to the Sorong Harbor (Pelabuhan Sorong). From there, you will take a ferry to Waigeo Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 2-3 hours and costs around IDR 100,000 to IDR 200,000 per person, depending on the ferry operator. Once you arrive at Waigeo, continue by car or motorcycle to Saporkren. The roads can be rough, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended. The distance from the harbor to Saporkren is about 40 kilometers, which may take around 1-2 hours due to road conditions.

To reach Saporkren from other parts of Central Papua, first make your way to Sorong. There are buses and shared vans that can take you to Sorong from nearby towns.
