If you are driving from Palu, head east on the Trans-Sulawesi highway (Route 1). Continue for approximately 400 km. Once you reach the town of Luwuk, take the exit towards Salakan. Follow signs to Salakan, which is about 70 km away. After entering Salakan, navigate to the coordinates M7RW+PMH, which is the location of Monumen Trikora. Parking is available nearby, and there is no fee for parking.

From Palu, you can take a bus or minivan to Luwuk. The journey takes around 8-10 hours depending on traffic and the bus service. Once you arrive in Luwuk, transfer to a local minivan or ojek (motorcycle taxi) heading to Salakan. This last leg of the journey is around 70 km and may cost approximately 50,000 IDR. Upon reaching Salakan, ask the driver to drop you at Monumen Trikora Salakan, located at M7RW+PMH.
