Car
If you are driving from Surabaya, head east on the Surabaya - Banyuwangi highway (Route 3). After approximately 200 km, take the exit towards Situbondo. Continue on Route 3 for another 25 km until you reach the entrance of Baluran National Park, located near Sumberwaru village. The park is approximately 7 km from the main road, so follow the signs towards the park entrance. Be aware that you will need to pay an entrance fee, which is around IDR 15,000 per person.

To reach Baluran National Park via public transportation, take a bus from Surabaya to Situbondo. Buses leave regularly from the Purabaya Bus Terminal in Surabaya. The bus ride takes about 5-6 hours. Once in Situbondo, you can take a local minibus or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to Sumberwaru, which is approximately 15 km away from the city center. The local transport cost should be around IDR 20,000-30,000. When you arrive at Sumberwaru, follow the signs to the park entrance, which is about 7 km from the village.
