If you are driving, start from Surabaya, the capital of East Java. Take the Jl. Tol Surabaya-Mojokerto highway and head towards Mojokerto. Exit at the Trowulan interchange and continue on Jl. Pendopo Agung. Follow the signs for Candi Kedaton (Sumur Upas). The coordinates are approximately -7.570575, 112.379597. There is no entrance fee for the site.

Public Transportation - Bus
From Surabaya, you can take a bus from the Bungurasih Bus Terminal heading to Mojokerto. The journey takes about 1-2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Mojokerto Bus Terminal, you will need to transfer to a local minibus (angkot) heading to Trowulan. Get off at the nearest stop to Candi Kedaton, which is a short walk from the main road. The total cost for the bus fare is around IDR 20,000-30,000.

Alternatively, you can take a train from Surabaya to Mojokerto. The train ride takes about 1 hour. You can catch a train from Gubeng Station or Pasar Turi Station. Once you arrive in Mojokerto, take a local angkot or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to reach Candi Kedaton (Sumur Upas). The total cost for the train ticket is around IDR 30,000-50,000 depending on the class.
