Getting There

Car

If you are starting from Bajawa, drive approximately 74 km east on the Trans-Nusa Tenggara Road (Route 1) towards Riung. The journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on road conditions. Once you reach Riung, follow signs to the national park entrance, which is located near the coastal area.
Public Transportation - Bus

From Bajawa, take a bus heading towards Riung. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal. The journey will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Riung, you can hire a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) or walk to the national park entrance, which is about 5 km from the bus station.
Boat

To explore the islands within the 17 Islands National Park, you will need to take a boat. Local fishermen and tour operators in Riung offer boat rentals. Prices vary, but expect to pay around IDR 300,000 to IDR 500,000 for a half-day trip, depending on the number of people and negotiation. It's advisable to arrange the boat in advance through your accommodation or local tour guides.
Walking
