If you are driving, head towards Ruteng, the capital of Manggarai Regency. From Ruteng, take the road to Tana Toraja via the Jalan Trans Flores route. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the junction for Waerebo Village. Look for signs pointing towards Waerebo and follow the winding road up the hills. The drive from Ruteng to the village takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on road conditions. Be prepared for narrow and steep roads as you approach the village.

Public Transportation
To reach Waerebo Village using public transportation, first take a bus from Labuan Bajo to Ruteng, which is approximately a 5-6 hour journey. Once in Ruteng, you will need to find a local 'angkot' (minibus) or hire a motorcycle taxi to take you to the foot of the hill leading to Waerebo. The local 'angkot' should drop you at the starting point of the hike to Waerebo. Note that you will need to trek for about 4-6 hours to reach the village from this point. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
